清掃の仕事は英語を使う場面が比較的少なく、ワーホリの最初の仕事として選ばれることの多い業種です。その分応募者も多いため、レジュメでは「速さ」「仕上がりの品質」「時間どおりに来る信頼性」の 3 点を具体的に示すことが大切です。
ホテルのハウスキーピングなら 1 シフトで担当した部屋数、オフィス清掃なら担当フロアの面積や人数規模、品質チェックで指摘ゼロを続けた期間など、数字で書ける実績を探しましょう。日本の「きれいの基準」の高さは、オーストラリアの清掃会社でも評価されるポイントです。
安全な薬品の扱いと衛生管理を書く
業務用の清掃では強い洗剤や薬品を使うため、使い方を守って安全に作業できるかが重視されます。安全データシート（SDS: Safety Data Sheet）の確認、手袋などの PPE の着用、場所ごとに色分けされた道具（Colour-coded cleaning）の使い分けなどの経験があれば、職歴の箇条書きに入れましょう。
